Agreement to These Terms

By using commercialwindowsdoors.ca or contacting Commercial Windows & Doors Inc.for services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or submit a quote request. For project work, a written quote, work order, or contract may add more specific terms for that job. Where those documents conflict with this page, the signed project documents control for that project.

Using Our Website

You may browse our website for information about our commercial services. You agree not to misuse the site — for example by attempting to disrupt it, scrape it in an abusive way, submit false information, or use it for unlawful purposes. Website content is for general information. It is not a formal engineering specification, building-code opinion, or binding quote until we confirm details in writing after assessing your opening.

Quotes and Estimates

When you request a quote, you agree to provide accurate contact and project information so we can respond safely and usefully. Online or phone estimates may be preliminary. Final pricing usually depends on an on-site assessment of size, access, glass or door specification, hardware, and site conditions. We will confirm scope and price in writing before starting non-emergency work whenever practical.

Emergency board-up and urgent securing may begin sooner when a building is open to the weather or unsecured. In those cases, we will explain call-out costs as clearly as we can before dispatch and document the work for permanent repair and insurance needs.

Services and Scheduling

We schedule commercial work around building access, tenant operations, and material lead times. Dates can change because of weather, fabrication delays, site readiness, or safety conditions. We will communicate changes as promptly as we can. You agree to provide reasonable site access, parking or staging information where needed, and accurate details about hazards, fire-rated openings, or after-hours requirements.

Payment

Payment terms are stated on your quote, invoice, or account agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due as invoiced. Approved property-management or GC accounts may have different terms. Late or unpaid balances may pause remaining work or warranty service until the account is current, subject to applicable law and any written agreement.

Warranties and Workmanship

Manufacturer warranties on glass, doors, and hardware follow the manufacturer's terms. Our workmanship warranty, when provided, is described on your project paperwork. Warranties typically do not cover damage from misuse, impact, vandalism, improper maintenance, unauthorized modifications, or conditions outside normal commercial use. If something is not right after a job, contact us so we can review it.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Ontario and Canadian law, Commercial Windows & Doors Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or from delays beyond our reasonable control, including supplier lead times, extreme weather, or site access issues. Our total liability for a project is limited as set out in the applicable quote or contract, and otherwise to the fees paid for the specific services giving rise to the claim, except where liability cannot be limited by law (including for death, personal injury, or fraud).

Intellectual Property

Website text, logos, photos, and design elements belong to Commercial Windows & Doors Inc. or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without our written permission, except for reasonable personal reference or sharing a page link.

Privacy

How we collect and use personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. By using the website or submitting a quote form, you acknowledge that policy.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada. Courts in Ontario will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or the website, except where mandatory consumer or other laws say otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised terms for website use. Project contracts already signed are not changed by a website update unless both parties agree in writing.
